I am joining this year and need to purchase my gear. Are we as an association wearing round neck or V-neck shirts? Are we always black and white or do I need the gray/black stripes as well? What whistles is everyone using?
Any recommended sites to purchase through? I see our site is down right now.
Do we need to have official gear for the training on 9/29?
Thanks, Chris
Hey Chris. Welcome to NCOA North. Fundamentally, we always match our partners. Communicate with your partner before the game to confirm which shirts you'll wearing as a crew. For the high school basketball season, we should be wearing the black and white shirts. The common ones are the V-Neck. The initial First Year class will discuss about this on September 29th. Chris I do see you've registered. If you've paid your dues in arbiter sports, please mark yourself ready in your profile. That will grant you access into the training portal to fulfill your CIF Hours of Requirements.

Thanks Tom I have paid my dues in both Arbiter and the CIF section. However, when I was in the CIF registration it asked for primary and secondary associations. I was not aware I needed to list Muller Sports as one of my associations and I have been told that my profile won’t be able to be seen to be scheduled. I am going to call Arbiter again on Monday and try to speak with a site administrator to get this corrected. The person I spoke with the other day said they couldn’t do anything for me. Anyway if I can’t this get this corrected Monday I will be requesting a refund and going to a different officiating group under Steve Harrank.
Hey Chris, I just got uniform stuff. I used umpattire.com. You can also use purchase officials, Gerry Davis, honig, out west officials, ect. Hope this helps.
Colin, thank you I will look at their site.
Does anyone know when we get access to the rule book? I take it it's just digital not physical.
The digital Rules Book is available via Arbiter after you register on the CIF State cite, pass the 2026-27 NFHS test (available on the CIF State site) and pass your CIF State background.
I passed all three required tests (Registration, Rule Test and Background check), but I could not open the digital Rules Book, Please advise???
Ok Igor. Your voice was heard. You and everyone else have access now. We can all start on our CIF Requirements now. Thanks Igor!
Are you physically ready for the start of the season?
