First-Year Officials Program Manager

Appointed Remote/In-Person · Incentive based, with Bonus
Applications close September 30, 2026

NCOA North Basketball is seeking a dedicated, organized First-Year Officials Program Manager to lead the development of our newest officials. This role is all about setting first-year referees up for success — giving them a clear, structured path from their very first week through their rookie season.

As Program Manager, you'll own the first-year officials curriculum and keep it current, maintaining an up-to-date, dated training plan that lays out what new officials should be learning and doing week by week. You'll define the milestones, assignments, and important due dates that guide a first-year official's progress, and you'll refine the program each season based on what's working and what officials need most.

You'll work closely with our leadership and training team to keep the curriculum relevant, and you'll help ensure every first-year official knows exactly what's expected of them at each stage — from week one onward. Strong organizational skills and clear communication are essential, since you'll be building and maintaining the roadmap that new officials rely on to stay on track.

This is a great fit for an experienced official who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and building structure. If you're passionate about developing the next generation of referees and can keep a program organized and on schedule, we'd love to have you lead this important part of our association.
